Their forthcoming album is titled Pray For The Wicked, but Fueled By Ramen’s Panic At The Disco has already found that the reaction to the first two singles from the release is wicked awesome. “Say Amen (Saturday Night)” and “(F*ck A) Silver Lining” both reacted well upon their debut last Wednesday, the former reaching a peak of #4 on iTunes with the help of a music video and a late-night television performance, with the latter going as high as #22. At Spotify, the two cuts had solid landings on the Viral charts, with “Amen” (#7 Global/#9 U.S.) out-peaking “Silver” (#21 U.S./#22 Global) on lists. With that in mind, “Amen” has amassed over six million streams worldwide at the platform, while “Silver” is just above three million plays. “Amen” is also pacing ahead at services like YouTube (3.95 vs. 1.62 million views), SoundCloud (13.7k vs. 8.2k plays) and Shazam (16.2k vs. 1.8k tags), where the single debuts at #20 on the Future Hits list, due in part to building airplay at the Alternative radio format. Needless to say, the band and their fanbase are still a force to contend with on the charts, but in order to secure their next #1 album on the Billboard 200 this summer, they’ll have to keep up the prayers for a little longer.
