BMLG’s country hit-making duo Florida Georgia Line certainly knows how to get some hits in line when it comes to their current album era. So far, three cuts have been issued under a self-titled album name, though it’s unclear if that’s the final title. Regardless, recent release “Talk You Out Of It” (#6) and proven radio hit “Simple” (#8) are picking up continued support in the top ten on iTunes. The set’s three winners have also been streamed a combined 27 million times on Spotify alone in just under six weeks, the majority of those plays coming from “Simple”, currently sitting at around 23.7 million streams at the service. Playlisting for that tune is the strongest on a majority of streaming services, including Spotify, where Hot Country is giving the song its largest audience, and Apple Music, where the similarly-formatted The A-List: Country continues to bring its plays up. Of course, this comes at a time when the duo’s features on two recent bigger hits in the genre, “Meant To Be” by Warner Bros.’s Bebe Rexha and “Up Down” by Big Loud’s Morgan Wallen, continue to chart nicely on several sales and streaming platforms. Can the guys maintain that momentum? We’re sure that it won’t be the end of the Line anytime soon.
