Imagining hit after hit on the charts isn’t something KIDinaKORNER/Interscope act Imagine Dragons has to do anytime soon; they’re making it a reality with a string of top tunes. Their newest addition to the list is “Natural”, which debuted on Tuesday morning. So far, the song has gone as high as #5 on iTunes in the U.S., as early airplay on multiple radio formats continues to aid the song’s progress. Overall, it ranks on the all-genre chart in 59 countries, while making the top ten in two dozen of them. While these sums mark a noticeable drop when compared to their more recent tracks, the act is still on fire, especially in the U.S., where “Natural” joins “Whatever It Takes” (#10) in the top ten at the service, while “Thunder” (#20) continues to sell well. Though data and playlisting at Spotify is limited, given its midweek release, the song has been streamed about 912,000 times during its first two days there. However, there are many promising signs at other platforms, including over 22,000 tags so far on Shazam and a healthy 3.2 million views for an audio-only clip on YouTube, securing a place in the top ten on the service’s Trending list. Will the Dragons continue to breathe more fire onto the charts in 2018? We always enjoy a hot song. (Images courtesy of KIDinaKORNER/Interscope Records)
