Wish you had a happier day? Our solution is to check out the latest release from Interscope star Zedd and RCA singer Elley Duhé called “Happy Now”, which premiered about a week ago. Of course, Zedd is coming off a massive hit in “The Middle”, with Grey and featuring Maren Morris, with more than 418 million streams thus far on Spotify and 139 million combined views across a lyric video and official music video on YouTube. Zedd’s current single will have to wait a while before it catches up to those numbers, but it’s holding well on the larger platforms. 65 countries reported “Happy” on their respective all-genre charts at iTunes, as it reached #30 on the U.S. list earlier this week. With a mix of New Music Friday and pop playlist adds, the collaboration is happily sitting at 2.8 million plays on Spotify, while climbing to #98 and #104 on the Global and U.S. charts, respectively. Viral chart action for “Happy” is also solid, with #20 and #28 debuts on the U.S. and Global lists, respectively. At Apple Music, the tune appears at #144 overall, with decent results at Shazam (36,000 tags) and YouTube (2.1 million views) as well. Still not happy yet?
