Having just received her third #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 as a featured artist on “Girls Like You” by 222/Interscope’s Maroon 5, establishing her as the only female rapper to do so on the chart, it’s certainly been another week for the record books for KSR Group/Atlantic queen Cardi B. The hit, which has already topped multiple radio and sales charts, just crossed 400 million streams on Spotify and clocks in at nearly 450 million with all of its released versions combined. With deep discounting on iTunes, the single is also currently at #8 on the U.S. list, as it sits north of five million tags on Shazam since its release. Of course, the rapper is keeping her hit streak alive on the charts with several other collaborations, her own Bad Bunny and J Balvin-assisted single “I Like It” among them. The former chart-topper on the Hot 100 comes in at 5.5 million tags on Shazam, 535 million streams on Spotify and 573 million views on YouTube. Last Friday, her new song with labelmate and songwriter Pardison Fontaine also reacted, with “Backin’ It Up” climbing to #15 on iTunes in the U.S., while charting in over 30 territories at the service. With another of her anticipated features dropping on Friday, watch out!
