Like a Phoenix rising from the smashes, Atlantic’s Rita Ora debuted the latest hit from her forthcoming album on Friday, scoring solid support across several platforms. The track, called “Let You Love Me”, got as high as #30 on iTunes in the U.S., with 64 countries reporting it on their respective all-genre lists. “Let” also entered the top ten in 21 countries, going all the way to #1 in six. Though it isn’t the strongest start for a song during her latest era, it’s still fairly active across the globe. On Spotify, the tune is well past four million streams in just under a week, as it continues to receive pop playlisting, including a number of New Music Friday lists. Her track was also added to Apple Music playlists like Best of the Week and The A-List: Pop, which is boosting the song nicely. A video for the single also reacted quickly on YouTube, leading the Trending list upon release, with a total north of five million views in less than a week. Finally, Ora’s track is on the radio, largely outside of the U.S., with Shazam reporting a total of 42,000 tags for “Let” in the same period. Will the Ritabots carry the singer’s new one to her biggest U.S. success to date? It will be a tough battle again, but as long as “Love” prevails, there’s a chance that it may succeed.
