Just under a month ago, we reported on the current solo singles from the members of Syco/Epic group Fifth Harmony, led by a new release by HITCO’s Dinah Jane. Now, two other releases from members of the act are harmonizing on the hit parade. Earlier this week, the two-track single from Keep Cool/RCA’s Normani was charting by Monday afternoon, as the performer linked up with Columbia’s Calvin Harris for the pair of songs. Globally, at 55 countries and counting, the Wizkid-assisted “Checklist” was the more reactive of the songs on iTunes, reaching #21 on the U.S. chart, as “Slow Down” got as high as #37, which just so happens to be the same amount of affiliates it charted in. On Spotify, “Checklist” is also in the lead with about 655,000 streams to the 318,000 for “Slow”, though the latter is in the lead, with a total of 352,000 views, at YouTube, where the former stands at 256,000. Meanwhile, standing at #6 on iTunes, Columbia’s Lauren Jauregui has a fine start with “Expectations”, ranking in 74 countries internationally and nearing 980,000 views for its music video on YouTube. It also has close to 3,200 tags on Shazam, due in part to the clip. Expect the unexpected on the charts. (Images courtesy of Keep Cool and RCA Records / YouTube: Lauren Jauregui)
