She’s a charmer with “Armor” who can surprise with a “Reprise”. It’s nice to have Epic performer Sara Bareilles back on the charts in a big way with two solid chart hits on iTunes in just under a week. Ahead of her forthcoming album, “Armor” was the first to debut on Friday, soaring to #10 on the U.S. chart. It also entered the all-genre list in about 25 countries at the platform. At Spotify and YouTube, this single currently sits at 346,000 plays and 290,000 combined views for both a lyric and audio-only video, respectively, with lesser totals elsewhere. Larger playlisting for “Armor” at the current time includes Soft Pop Hits and several New Music Friday lists on Spotify, as well as Breaking Pop on Apple Music. Additionally, the singer’s “Theodosia Reprise” made its debut (via Atlantic) on Wednesday as the newest Hamildrop from the musical Hamilton. It went to #12 on iTunes in the U.S. during the middle of the Halloween rush, while also landing on the all-genre survey in nearly the same amount of countries as “Armor”. It, too, has two separate uploads growing on YouTube, a music video and an audio-only clip, which currently sit at almost 65,000 views each. We think that an epic 2019 awaits the talented singer and her upcoming set. (Images courtesy of Atlantic and Epic Records)
