From High School Musical to high chart stats, Big Noise Music’s Ashley Tisdale has seen a lot in her career. Luckily, her return to music has received higher marks critically and commercially. One of her new original songs, “Voices In My Head”, made its debut on Thursday, picking up a lot of coverage and her best digital numbers in years. On iTunes, the single entered the top 30 in the U.S., going as high as #24, while reaching the all-genre list in 45 countries. The majority of those territories, like the U.S., reported peaks in the top 25 or higher: the current total stands at 27, or 60%. On Spotify, “Voices” has about 388,000 streams to date, with several New Music Friday playlists (including the U.S. and Canada) aiding the song in the past week. It’s also seen some solid pop playlisting on Apple Music, with adds on Best of the Week, The A-List: Pop and more. Elsewhere, the combination of a lyric and music video for Tisdale’s new single have a total of 315,000 views on YouTube, with the latter clip debuting about a week after the song was first released, while the stats drop off from there on other mediums like Shazam, where the track has fewer than 1,000 tags. Overall, we think her Symptoms era is ready to bop to the top. (Images courtesy of Big Noise Music and Instagram / @AshleyTisdale)
